Established in 1997, the annual Peekskill Celebration is the largest festival in the Hudson Valley, attracting over 30,000 people from the New York City metropolitan area. The festivities showcase the historic City of Peekskill's colorful maritime heritage and its vibrant cultural and commercial life. Professionally-produced and growing every year, the Celebration is a fun, family-friendly series of events filled with food, fireworks, music, crafts, dragon boat races and more, all of which take place in a stunning setting along the Hudson River. Venues include downtown Peekskill, Riverfront Green Park and Charles Point Park. Admission to the grounds, entertainment, shuttle buses and parking are always free.
